Gonzales announced today the appointment of three senior members of the Justice Department’s staff. Theodore Ullyot has been appointed Chief of Staff, Kyle Sampson has been appointed Deputy Chief of Staff and Counselor to the Attorney General, and Raul Yanes has been appointed Senior Counselor to the Attorney General.


News Release: Gutierrez Visits Brussels to Meet EU Counterparts, Participate in Earth Observation Summit U.S. Commerce Secretary Carlos M. Gutierrez today embarked on his first official international visit to Brussels, Belgium February 15-16, 2005. Gutierrez will meet with European Union government officials and lead a U.S. delegation to the Global Earth Observation Summit. Gutierrez was sworn in as Secretary of Commerce last Monday.
