Brown of the Southern District of Alabama announces that Charlie Lewis Davis of Mobile was sentenced, following an October 2014 guilty plea to a charge of being a prohibited person in possession of a firearm. Davis was previously convicted in Baldwin County of Manslaughter and Possession of Marijuana, First Degree in 2005. By virtue of these convictions, Davis is prohibited from possessing firearms or ammunition.
