No Cave Tours Monday, May 18, at Wind Cave National Park

14 Charged With Violating Federal Drug And Gun Laws

News Release: PITTSBURGH - Following a multi-agency investigation into drug trafficking in Clairton, Pa., 14 people - 13 residents of Pennsylvania and one resident of New Jersey - have been indicted by a federal grand jury in Pittsburgh on charges of violating federal narcotics and firearms laws. Chávez National Monument hosted a special event, in cooperation with the Cesar Chavez Foundation, to provide military honors for César Chávez at this gravesite. Chávez served in the U.S. Navy as a Seaman 1st Class from 1946 - 1948. At the time of his death, he was not given a military funeral because he passed away so suddenly that the family did not have a chance to do so.


News Release: COLUMBUS, Ohio - A federal grand jury has charged Francois G. Toure, 25, of Reynoldsburg, Robert A. Kamara, 26, of Canal Winchester, and Enouch J. Kermue, 26, of Columbus, in a wire fraud conspiracy in an indictment returned in Columbus. Toure is also charged in a second wire fraud conspiracy, as well as a money laundering conspiracy. Additionally, Toure and Kamara are charged with aggravated identity theft.
