Hearing To Focus on WRRDA Implementation on One-Year Anniversary of Water Resources Law

The Subcommittee on Water Resources and Environment, chaired by U.S. Rep. Bob Gibbs (R-OH), will hold a hearing next week on implementation of the Water Resources Reform and Development Act of 2014 (WRRDA), legislation that made reforms to accelerate the project delivery process, promote fiscal responsibility, and increase transparency, accountability, and congressional oversight in reviewing and prioritizing future water resources development investment. This hearing will take place one year after WRRDA was enacted in law.

The hearing, entitled “One Year Anniversary After Enactment: Implementation of the Water Resources Reform and Development Act of 2014," is scheduled to begin at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, June 10, 2015 in 2167 Rayburn House Office Building.
