Environmental Protection Agency to Testify Before Subcommittee on Water Resources and Environment on Clean Water Act

Washington, DC- Today, Chair of the House Committee on Transportation and Infrastructure Peter DeFazio (D-OR), and Chair of the Subcommittee on Water Resources and Environment Grace F. Napolitano (D-CA), announced the Subcommittee will hold a hearing titled, “The Administration’s Priorities and Policy Initiatives Under the Clean Water Act."

The Subcommittee will receive testimony from Dave Ross, Assistant Administrator for the Office of Water at the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), regarding several Clean Water Act policy changes the Trump administration has initiated over the past two and half years. The purpose of this hearing is to provide Members with an opportunity to hear from the EPA and stakeholders regarding the Trump administration’s clean water initiatives.
