ENR Advances FERC Nominees

The following press release was published by the Senate Committee On Energy & Natural Resources on Nov. 18, 2020. It is reproduced in full below.

The Senate Committee on Energy and Natural Resources today held a business meeting and reported the following nominees to the full Senate:

* Mr. Mark Christie to be a Member of the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission; and

* Ms. Allison Clements to be a Member of the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission.

Mr. Christie has been nominated to replace former Commissioner Bernie McNamee for a term that ends on June 30, 2025. Ms. Clements has been nominated to replace former Commissioner Cheryl LaFleur for a term that ends on June 30, 2024.

The committee favorably reported both Christie and Clements by voice vote. Both nominees will now be added to the Senate’s Executive Calendar for potential floor consideration.
