SENATE APPROVES TREASURY NOMINATION

WASHINGTON -- Senate Finance Committee Chairman William V. Roth Jr. (R-DE) today announced that the Treasury nominee, David C. Williams, confirmed by the Committee on Jan. 20, 1999 was approved by the Senate Thursday evening, April 29, 1999, to be Inspector General for Tax Administration, Department of Treasury.
