Sen. Chuck Grassley, ranking member of the Committee on Finance, made the followingcomment on corporate inversions.
“A number of bills have been rushed out to attack corporate inversions. The problem is, mostof the proposals fall short of the mark. Most of them wouldn’t capture all the elements of aninversion, as there are many components and several varieties. As ranking member of the FinanceCommittee, where there are experts and resources to develop this kind of legislation, I’m workingon a bipartisan bill to target this kind of corporate abuse in a comprehensive manner that willactually get the job done and stick."
