Sen. Chuck Grassley, chairman of the Committee on Finance, made the following comment on the President’s Medicaid proposal.
“I’ll reserve final judgment on the President’s Medicaid proposal until I’ve had time to study it. However, the President’s proposal acknowledges both the complexity of the Medicaid program and the states’ budget shortfalls. I look forward to working with the Administration and my colleagues on both sides of the aisle on ways to improve the Medicaid program and to look at options for helping the states."
