Senate Finance Committee Chair Ron Wyden, D-Ore., today released the following statement on USTR’s decision to suspend a trade forum with Burma:
“After the latest horrific bloody attack on civilians by Burma’s military junta, USTR is right to send the message that America won’t go ahead with business as usual. I applaud this and other Biden administration actions to impose consequences on this brutal, anti-democratic regime."
