Levin Statement on Proposals to Address Corporate Inversions

WASHINGTON - Ways and Means Committee Ranking Member Sander Levin (D-MI) today made the following statement regarding congressional proposals to address corporate inversions:

“Corporate inversions threaten to undermine the U.S. tax base and increase the tax burden on ordinary Americans. I’m continuing to have discussions with my colleagues in the House and Senate to find swift and effective solutions to this problem from a variety of angles. I expect to release additional complementary proposals in the near future."
