Ryan Statement on Second-Quarter GDP Report

WASHINGTON, DC - Today, House Ways and Means Committee Chairman Paul Ryan (R-WI) released the following statement on the second-quarter GDP report.

“This latest report only confirms what we already knew: Our economy could be doing a lot better. That’s why the Ways and Means Committee is working hard to fix our tax code and bring good-paying jobs back to our shores. The American people deserve an opportunity economy-one that allows everybody to reach their potential. We shouldn’t settle for anything less."
