Washington, D.C. - House Ways and Means Committee Chairman Kevin Brady (R-TX) released the following statement on the Trump administration’s additional proposed Section 301 actions against China:

“President Trump is determined to confront China’s unfair trade practices. The deliberation period announced by the President gives the U.S. and China a long overdue opportunity to resolve this serious trade dispute. It is in both of our countries’ interest-and frankly, the world’s-to find a new path forward on unfair trade practices."
