SPRINGFIELD, MA-Today, Ways and Means Committee Chairman Richard E. Neal (D-MA) released the following statement announcing his selection of Beth Bell to serve as the staff director of the Select Revenue Measures Subcommittee:
“Beth brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to this key Committee role. In addition to her two years as a tax counsel with Ways and Means, she also previously served as the policy director and tax counsel for the Senate Committee on Small Business and Entrepreneurship. Her background will be particularly helpful as we work to advance substantial tax policy through both chambers of Congress to deliver relief to struggling Americans, reenergize our lagging economy, and create jobs. I look forward to working with Beth in her new leadership position, and I greatly appreciate the strategic insights and thoughtful counsel she so consistently provides."
