Neal Statement on 2022 Medicare and Social Security Trustees Reports

SPRINGFIELD, MA- Today, Ways and Means Committee Chairman Richard E. Neal (D-MA) released the following statement on the 2022 Social Security Trustees Report and 2022 Medicare Trustees Report:

“For millions of families across the nation, Social Security and Medicare provide vital support, enabling economic security and access to health care. Particularly throughout the COVID crisis, these earned benefits offered Americans some peace of mind during jarringly tumultuous times. Democrats will continue to fight to ensure that these essential programs remain strong, through good times and bad."
