Congresswoman Rosa DeLauro (D-CT), Chair of the House Appropriations Committee, delivered the following remarks on the revised 302(b) subcommittee allocations:
Now, for the last order of business, we will approve the Revised Suballocations for fiscal year 2023.
There are no substantive changes in these revised suballocations. They reflect the funding recommendations in the 12 bills we approved over the past couple weeks.
I am so proud of these investments. As I have said before, with these allocations in total that track to the deeming resolution the House passed earlier this month, we secure transformative federal investments that help fight inflation, lower the cost of living, create jobs, and support working families.
I urge my colleagues to support them.
