WASHINGTON, D.C. - Today, President Trump announced his decision to withdraw from the Paris climate agreement. Chairman Rob Bishop (R-UT) issued the following statement:
“The Paris Agreement has always been a political sideshow to America's energy renaissance and its contributions to reducing emissions through innovation.Weshould not be taking any form of energy off the table, we should be innovating. We should be finding new ways to harness our energy potential to create an even more abundant, affordable, efficient and diverse supply. That is how America has led and will continue to lead the world to greater prosperity."
