Today, the House passed H.R. 7780, the Mental Health Matters Act, which opens a veritable Pandora’s box of new authority for the Department of Labor to attack job creators.
Rep. Virginia Foxx (R-NC), Republican Leader of the Education and Labor Committee, said on the House floor prior to the vote:
“Passing H.R. 7780 would do a disservice to students, workers, and job creators. This legislation has been weighed, it has been measured, and it has been found wanting.”
