American families are desperate for relief from Biden-Flation, as President Biden doubles down on his failed economic policies.
“It’s a real gut punch to Americans if they wake up this morning hearing that, because while the President insists inflation is zero, what we know is that core inflation was the highest of the Biden presidency last month. “Health care, housing, and rents had the highest increases last year ever recorded and so a lot of Americans today in President Biden’s cruel economy are skipping meals, they are delaying retirement, they’re digging into savings, they are looking for extra work to try to figure out a way to try to survive. “I think the President is severely disconnected from the real world.”
Republicans are demanding answers on the greatest theft of taxpayer dollars in COVID-19 relief fraud.
“The American people really don’t know where that [COVID relief] money got spent. In the Ways and Means committee, we will finally pull back the curtain on the Biden Administration and what we believe is the greatest theft of American tax dollars in U.S. history in unemployment fraud. “We are seeing it too in some other of those programs such as the Child Tax Credit. Not only is it driving inflation, it was a monumental waste and fraud of tax dollars.”
Ways and Means Republicans are tracking down waste of taxpayer dollars, fighting for transparency, and holding the Biden Administration accountable for its unprecedented executive overreach.
“The public has the right to know how their tax dollars are spent and how their government works. We’re focused not only on unemployment fraud, but the IRS and the record backlog that has hurt so many Americans on their tax returns. We’re focused on the destruction of 30 million tax returns from last year and the leaks of private tax returns. “Frankly, the IRS is still pursuing a bank surveillance scheme on Americans. You will see a lot of Republican work on issues that affect families, especially middle-class families directly. “You’ll also see a focus on the President’s illegal expansion of ObamaCare, their global tax surrender, and some other major issues that frankly have never been covered with Democrats leading the House. I think the public will finally get to see actually how their government is working.”
