The public is invited to participate in a virtual meeting about a proposal to modify the airspace around Luis Muñoz Marín International Airport in San Juan, Puerto Rico.
The Federal Aviation Administration’s (FAA) proposal expands the area where pilots interact with air traffic control and will not change existing flight paths. The airspace change improves the ability to manage the area’s complexity and volume of aviation activities.
The virtual public information meeting will take place from 5 to 7 p.m. AST on Feb. 28, 2023. FAA representatives will provide an overview of the San Juan airspace and the proposed changes. After the presentation, the public can comment, present and participate in a live question-and-answer session.
Register to participate by Zoom or participate via live stream on the FAA’s Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube accounts. The live stream on the agency’s social media platforms does not require registration. Attendees using Zoom will have the opportunity to make remarks for up to three minutes.
Attendees watching the meeting on social media channels can submit questions using the platform’s chat feature. Comments and presentations made during the virtual meeting are not formal submissions. Learn more and submit comments on the proposal before March 28, 2023, here.
