The United States Secretary of State, Antony J. Blinken, has extended congratulations to the people of Bosnia and Herzegovina on their Statehood Day. In a statement released on November 25, 2024, Blinken emphasized the strong partnership between the United States and Bosnia and Herzegovina.
"The United States values its deep and broad partnership with Bosnia and Herzegovina," Blinken stated. He reiterated the U.S. commitment to supporting Bosnia and Herzegovina's sovereignty, territorial integrity, and multiethnic character. The U.S. also remains dedicated to promoting stability and prosperity in the region while advocating for Bosnia and Herzegovina's integration into Euro-Atlantic structures.
Blinken called upon leaders in Bosnia and Herzegovina to strive for unity and work towards a better future for all citizens. "The United States stands with the people of Bosnia and Herzegovina in our shared pursuit of peace, prosperity, and security," he said.
