House Appropriations Committee Chairman Tom Cole has announced the markup schedule for the Fiscal Year 2026 appropriations bills. This schedule is open to change, and official notices will be distributed following the Committee's regulations.

The initial schedule indicated that the Commerce, Justice, Science, and Related Agencies Bill would be marked up in the week of July 14, while the Transportation, Housing and Urban Development, and Related Agencies Bill was set for the week of July 7. However, due to changes in scheduling, these have been swapped. The updated schedule reflects these modifications.

On Thursday, June 5th, subcommittee markups are scheduled for the Military Construction, Veterans Affairs, and Related Agencies Bill at 10:00 a.m., followed by Agriculture, Rural Development, Food and Drug Administration, and Related Agencies Bill at 10:30 a.m.

Monday evening on June 9th will see a subcommittee markup of the Homeland Security Bill at 6:00 p.m.

June 10th will feature a classified subcommittee markup of the Defense Bill at noon with a full committee markup at 2:00 p.m. for Military Construction allocations.

The full committee will review Agriculture-related bills on June 11th at 10:00 a.m., Homeland Security on June 12th also at 10:00 a.m., and Defense on June 13th at noon.

Later in June from Monday through Friday (23rd-27th), various subcommittees and full committees will convene for Interior and Environment-related bills among others.

Early July sees additional markups starting with Commerce-related matters on July 7th at late afternoon hours continuing into subsequent days with finalizations by mid-July including Labor-related appropriations towards month's end.
