On June 26, the Senate Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions (HELP) Committee is set to vote on several key nominations for positions within the Department of Education, the Department of Labor, and the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission. The meeting will take place in S-216 Capitol at approximately 4:00 p.m.
The agenda includes the nomination of Penny Schwinn for Deputy Secretary of Education and Kimberly Richey for Assistant Secretary for Civil Rights at the Department of Education. Daniel Aronowitz is nominated as Assistant Secretary of Labor for the Employee Benefits Security Administration. David Keeling is up for Assistant Secretary of Labor for the Occupational Safety and Health Administration.
Further nominations include Jonathan Berry as Solicitor at the Department of Labor and Andrew Rogers as Administrator of the Wage and Hour Division. Anthony D’Esposito has been nominated as Inspector General at the Department of Labor. Andrea Lucas is being considered for a position as a Member of the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission. Jeremiah Workman is nominated to serve as Assistant Secretary of Labor for Veterans’ Employment and Training.
