David X. Sullivan, the United States Attorney for the District of Connecticut, has announced the sentencing of Jill Mulligan, a 45-year-old resident of North Stonington. Mulligan was sentenced to six years in federal prison by U.S. District Judge Stefan R. Underhill in Bridgeport for her involvement in trafficking crystal methamphetamine.
Court documents and statements reveal that during April and May 2023, the FBI’s Northern Connecticut Gang Task Force conducted three controlled purchases of crystal meth from Mulligan. She was subsequently arrested on May 4, 2023. Searches at her residence and vehicle led to the discovery of approximately 390 grams of crystal meth along with quantities of crack cocaine, LSD, and prescription pills.
Mulligan entered a guilty plea on November 1, 2023, to charges of possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine. Her detention began on March 12, 2025, following the revocation of her bond.
Assistant U.S. Attorney Reed Durham prosecuted this case.
