Senator Young emphasized the importance of these sectors to Indiana's economy and their role in supporting jobs. "The trucking and motorcoach industries are essential to Indiana’s economy and support thousands of Hoosier jobs," he stated. He also highlighted the role of the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) in road safety while allowing industry growth.

Senator Cruz added that these industries are vital to the U.S. economy by connecting supply chains and creating jobs. "America’s trucking and motorcoach industries are more than just transportation," he remarked. He stressed FMCSA's responsibility to ensure road safety without imposing unnecessary burdens on these sectors.
