Manufacturers recently welcomed House Republican Conference Chairwoman Lisa McClain and several area members of Congress during factory tours to express gratitude for their support of H.R. 1, the One Big Beautiful Bill Act. The tours were part of Chairwoman McClain’s One Big Beautiful Tour, which included visits with Reps. Tom Kean, Rob Bresnahan, and Ryan Mackenzie.

National Association of Manufacturers Executive Vice President Erin Streeter joined the lawmakers on these visits, highlighting the positive impacts of the Manufacturing Law on local manufacturing. Streeter said, "Manufacturing is the backbone of the American economy—and with the leadership of Chairwoman McClain, Reps. Kean, Bresnahan, Mackenzie and their colleagues in Congress—that foundation is stronger than ever."

In New Jersey, Chairwoman McClain and Rep. Kean visited Bihler of America in Phillipsburg. CEO Maxine Nordmeyer expressed appreciation for Congress' action on tax policy: "Manufacturers thrive when we have the certainty we need to plan major investments in our facilities and our people."

In Pennsylvania, Rep. Bresnahan joined Chairwoman McClain at i2M in Mountain Top. i2M Founder Chris Hackett highlighted a key provision: "By restoring immediate R&D expensing for manufacturers across America, Congress has empowered manufacturers like i2M to innovate and create."

Another stop included U.S. Metal Powders in Palmerton with Rep. Mackenzie. Pennsylvania Manufacturers’ Association President David N. Taylor thanked them: "Thanks to this transformative tax legislation, U.S. Metal Powders has already broken ground on adding another production line—which will soon double the company’s workforce."
