A 19-year-old from Jamestown, New Mexico, has been charged with making violent threats online in the aftermath of the assassination of Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk on September 10, 2025. According to court documents, Jace Allen used an account on X.com under the name “Jebron Lames” to post a series of violent and racist threats.

Allen allegedly posted about plans to commit mass murder, target minorities and Jews, and shoot at unspecified locations. He also threatened an Ohio city council member by stating, “You’re gonna be one of the first to die.”

The FBI’s Toledo Resident Agency traced the social media account to Allen’s phone and home. Agents from the FBI Gallup Resident Agency interviewed Allen at his residence on September 11, 2025. During the interview, Allen admitted to making the posts and described himself as a Neo-Nazi who hates Jews and minorities. He told agents he wanted to help start a civil war by spreading terror online.

Although Allen claimed not to own firearms, investigators found videos on his phone showing him firing both a rifle and handgun in August 2025.

Allen is charged with transmitting communications containing a threat to injure another person. He will remain in custody until a detention hearing is held. If convicted, he faces up to five years in prison.

Acting U.S. Attorney Ryan Ellison stated: “A criminal complaint is merely an allegation. All defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.” The announcement was made jointly by Ellison and Philip Russell, Acting Special Agent in Charge of the Federal Bureau of Investigation’s Albuquerque Field Office.

The investigation was conducted by the Gallup Resident Agency of the FBI’s Albuquerque Field Office. Supervisory Assistant U.S. Attorney Matthew McGinley is prosecuting the case.
