Senate HELP Committee to vote on Trump administration labor nominees October 9

The Senate Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions (HELP) Committee is scheduled to vote on several nominees for key labor positions in the Trump administration on Thursday, October 9, 2025. The committee will consider nominations for both the National Labor Relations Board and the Department of Labor.

The agenda includes the nomination of Crystal Carey as General Counsel of the National Labor Relations Board, Scott Mayer and James Murphy as Members of the National Labor Relations Board, Rosario Palmieri as Assistant Secretary of Labor for Policy at the Department of Labor, and Anthony D’Esposito to serve as Inspector General at the Department of Labor.

The meeting will take place at 9:45 AM ET in Room 430 of the Dirksen Senate Office Building. Members of the press planning to attend are asked to RSVP through their respective press galleries.
