A Michigan man has admitted to participating in a cocaine trafficking conspiracy, according to the U.S. Attorney's Office for the Western District of Pennsylvania.
Roy Brown, 56, of Westland, Michigan, pleaded guilty on October 21, 2025 before United States District Judge Robert J. Colville. Brown admitted to conspiring to distribute cocaine between August 2023 and August 2024.
Judge Colville has set sentencing for March 10, 2026. The potential penalties include up to 20 years in prison and a fine of up to $1 million. Sentencing will be determined based on the seriousness of the offense and Brown’s prior criminal history, if any.
Assistant United States Attorney Craig W. Haller is prosecuting the case.
The investigation involved several agencies: the Federal Bureau of Investigation, Drug Enforcement Administration, Pennsylvania Office of Attorney General, Lawrence County Drug Task Force, New Castle Police Department, Michigan State Police, Pennsylvania State Police, Mercer County Drug Task Force, United States Postal Inspection Service, Department of Homeland Security and Douglas County (Nebraska) Sheriff’s Office.
