The Subcommittee on Health, Employment, Labor, and Pensions will hold a hearing focused on class action lawsuits affecting workers' retirement plans. The session, titled “Pension Predators: Stopping Class Action Abuse Against Workers’ Retirement,” is scheduled for 10:15 a.m. on Tuesday, December 2, 2025. Rep. Rick Allen (R-GA), who chairs the subcommittee, will preside over the hearing.
The event will take place in Room 2175 of the Rayburn House Office Building. Members of the press are invited to attend and the proceedings will also be available via live stream on the Committee’s YouTube page.
The hearing aims to address concerns about how class action litigation may impact employee retirement security and what measures could be considered to prevent potential abuses.
