The Subcommittee on Early Childhood, Elementary, and Secondary Education will hold a hearing to discuss challenges facing youth sports in the United States. The hearing, titled "Benched: The Crisis in American Youth Sports and Its Cost to Our Future," is scheduled for Tuesday, December 16, 2025, at 10:15 a.m. It will take place in Room 2175 of the Rayburn House Office Building.
Rep. Kevin Kiley (R-CA), who chairs the subcommittee, announced that the event will address issues related to participation and access in youth sports programs across the country.
