House Energy and Commerce schedules three subcommittee hearings for December

The House Committee on Energy and Commerce has scheduled three subcommittee hearings this week in Washington, D.C. The sessions will take place at the Rayburn House Office Building.

On Tuesday, December 16, 2025, at 10:15 AM ET, the Subcommittee on Communications and Technology will hold a hearing focused on public safety communications in the United States.

The following day, Wednesday, December 17, 2025, also at 10:15 AM ET, the Subcommittee on Oversight and Investigations will examine how developments in artificial intelligence and biotechnology are influencing biosecurity and risk mitigation strategies.

The final hearing is set for Thursday, December 18, 2025, at 10:00 AM ET. The Subcommittee on Environment will discuss current laws and regulations related to PFAS (per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances).

All hearings will be held in room 2123 of the Rayburn House Office Building.
