The Subcommittee on Health, Employment, Labor, and Pensions will hold a hearing tomorrow focused on updating retirement policy to meet the needs of today’s workforce. The session is scheduled for 10:15 a.m. on January 7, 2026, at the Rayburn House Office Building.
The hearing, titled "Modernizing Retirement Policy for Today’s Workforce," will be chaired by Representative Rick Allen (R-GA). The subcommittee has invited several witnesses to provide their perspectives on the topic. Participants include Surya Kolluri, Head of TIAA Institute; Ken Levine, Executive Director of Global Retirement Strategy at RTX; Dr. Nari Rhee, Director of the Retirement Security Program at UC Berkeley Labor Center; and Wayne Chopus, President and CEO of the Insured Retirement Institute.
The event is open to members of the press and will also be live-streamed on the Committee’s YouTube page.
