Steve Cortes on U.S. migration, foreign policy: 'Establishment prioritizes foreigners over Americans'

Steve Cortes, president and founder of the League of American Workers, said the U.S. establishment has created pressure on domestic systems by allowing large-scale migration and directing resources abroad, leaving American citizens to shoulder the impact.

"From the increasingly violent ICE protests -- to the latest migrant mega-scams -- to the billions borrowed and sent to Ukraine…one undeniable theme emerges: the Establishment prioritizes foreigners over Americans—both at home and across the globe," said Cortes.

According to Cortes, U.S. policies are favoring foreigners over citizens. He cited examples such as migrant scams and foreign aid to Ukraine while advocating for securing the border, deporting undocumented immigrants, and prioritizing working families.

Cortes referenced federal investigations in Minnesota revealing multiple social service fraud schemes, including the nonprofit Feeding Our Future's alleged misuse of federal child nutrition funds. More than 70 federal charges have been filed in connection with these cases, which also involve housing and autism program payments. He cited these investigations to illustrate vulnerabilities in state oversight under Governor Tim Walz.

Cortes Investigates reported that the United States has sent billions of dollars to Ukraine amid the ongoing conflict, with funds borrowed in the name of American taxpayers while domestic priorities suffer. A poll of Generation Z voters aged 18 to 25 shows that only 23 percent support continued U.S. assistance if peace talks fail, pointing to a shift toward America First policies.

Steve Cortes is also a senior political advisor to CatholicVote and a former senior advisor to President Trump and JD Vance. Additionally, he is a commentator for Fox News and CNN and regularly releases documentaries and columns at cortesinvestigates.com.
