Deputy Secretary of State Christopher Landau is scheduled to visit New Delhi from March 3 to March 6. During his trip, he will lead the U.S. delegation at the 2026 Raisina Dialogue, a key geopolitical forum in India. The visit aims to promote President Trump’s America First policy priorities.
Landau is expected to hold meetings with senior Indian officials focusing on several areas of cooperation. These include defense collaboration, discussions on critical minerals, and efforts to combat narcotics trafficking. Additionally, talks will address ways to strengthen commercial and economic relationships between the two countries, with an emphasis on expanding market access for American businesses.
The agenda also includes advancing a shared vision for a free, open, and prosperous Indo-Pacific region.
