Heidi Morrow has been named director of the U.S. Bureau of Reclamation's Mission Support Organization in Denver.
The BOR announced the selection of Morrow as the director in a Jan. 18 press release. Morrow will be responsible for leading Reclamation's broad range of administrative programs such as business analysis, financial management, supply and property management, and acquisition management, the news release stated.
Morrow will also serve as Reclamation's deputy chief financial officer and as a capital fund manager, the bureau said.
"Heidi has a wealth of experience in supporting Reclamation's business and financial management activities," Reclamation Commissioner Camille Calimlim Touton said in a statement. "Heidi's leadership will ensure Reclamation's business practices are transparent and efficient as Reclamation implements the requirements of the recently passed Bipartisan Infrastructure Law."
Morrow joined the BOR in 2010, according to the release. Prior to her selection as director, she served as the division manager for the finance policy and programs division.
"I am honored to be selected for this important leadership position and look forward to supporting Reclamation and our stakeholders in my new role," Morrow said in a statement. "I look forward to being part of the leadership team that supports our critical mission of delivering water and power throughout the West."
Morrow is a certified government financial manager who has a Bachelor of Science in business administration from Colorado State University, the release stated.
