Chairs DeFazio, Larsen Announce Hearing on Aviation Maintenance and Manufacturing Workforce

Washington, DC- Today, Chair of the House Committee on Transportation and Infrastructure Peter DeFazio (D-OR) and Chair of the Subcommittee on Aviation Rick Larsen (D-WA) announced the Subcommittee will hold a hearing titled “Looking Forward: The Future of America’s Aviation Maintenance and Manufacturing Workforce." The hearing will examine the current state of the U.S. aviation manufacturing and maintenance workforce, challenges to ensuring this workforce can meet future industry demands and needs, and current Government and industry initiatives designed to address those challenges.
