Wyden Statement on Short-Term Extension of Transportation Funding

WASHINGTON - Senate Finance Committee Ranking Member Ron Wyden, D-Ore., today offered a statement following the introduction of a bill in the House of Representatives to extend funding for highway and transit programs for 2 months:

“It’s time we take the necessary steps to pursue a bipartisan path forward on a long term funding solution. Smart and effective infrastructure planning demands certainty and it’s time for Congress to deliver," Wyden said.
