Washington, D.C. - Congressman Howard Berman, Ranking Democrat on the House Foreign Affairs Committee, released the following statement in response to the bombing that took place today in downtown Jerusalem.
“My thoughts and prayers go out to the family and friends of the woman who was killed, and all those injured and terrorized by the bombing today at Jerusalem’s central bus station. I condemn in the strongest possible terms this contemptible act of terrorism. As always, the United States stands ready to support Israel unwaveringly in this time of tragedy."
