Washington, D.C. - Today, U.S. Rep. Ed Royce (R-CA), Chairman of the House Foreign Affairs Committee, issued the following statement on the release of the State Department’s Draft Supplemental Environmental Impact Statement on the Keystone XL pipeline.

“The delay tactics by this Administration must stop. The President and Secretary Kerry have no credible reason to wait any longer to approve a project that will create more than 200,000 American jobs and enhance our national security."

Note: Last month, Chairman Royce, joined by all 24 other Republican Committee Members called on President Obama to approve the Keystone XL project after Nebraska Governor Dave Heineman endorsed it.
