Outstanding Senate Requests to Biden Family and Associates

The following press release was published by the U.S. Senate Committee on Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs on Dec. 12, 2020. It is reproduced in full below.

WASHINGTON - After issuing our report on Sept. 23 on the conflicts of interest and foreign financial entanglements of the Biden family, Senator Grassley and I have continued to seek information and testimony from the individuals involved.

To date, Devon Archer, James Gilliar, John Sandweg, Eric Schwerin, and Rob Walker have not been responsive to our letters and emails. Attorneys for Hunter and James Biden have refused to cooperate with the committees. It should be noted that, collectively, President Trump’s family and associates produced documents and agreed to appear at interviews with a number of congressional committees.

It would be nice, and in the public’s interest, if the Biden family and their associates would be equally cooperative with the Senate, the American people we represent, and the mainstream media that has now joined our long interest in these crucial matters.

For the benefit of news outlets now beginning to cover the story, these are the Senate’s outstanding requests to the Biden family and their associates:

* Sept. 23, 2020 email requests for a voluntary, transcribed interview and relevant records sent to:

** Devon Archer and

** Hunter Biden

* Oct. 21, 2020 letters requesting records sent to:

** James Biden;

** Hunter Biden;

** Tony Bobulinski;

** James Gilliar; and

** Rob Walker.

* November 9, 2020 email requests for a voluntary, transcribed interview and relevant records sent to:

** Heather King;

** David Leiter;

** Eric Schwerin; and

** John Sandweg.
