The National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) Leading Suppliers Council, in partnership with Professional Builder magazine, has announced the official show homes for the 2026 NAHB International Builders’ Show (IBS). The event will feature The New American Home 2026 and The New American Remodel 2026, which will be open for tours to IBS attendees and media from February 17 to 19.

Both homes are located in Winter Park, Florida. They represent the latest examples of The New American Home program, designed to highlight new products, designs and building techniques. This year marks the final time these showcase homes will be built in Orlando; future editions will move exclusively to Las Vegas alongside the IBS.

The newly constructed home was developed by Alair Orlando. It is a luxury residence featuring six bedrooms, eight bathrooms, a wellness center, theater, wine cellar, game room and an underground garage that can hold up to 18 cars. With nearly 7,900 square feet of living space and over 16,600 square feet under roof, it aims to demonstrate advances in residential design.

“We’re extremely proud to unveil this year’s show home as a true reflection of what’s next in residential design, where high-performance meets high style,” said Daniel Kennerley, partner at Alair Orlando. “Every detail of the home was thoughtfully crafted to push the envelope in energy efficiency, sustainability and modern livability.”

This project also supports charitable efforts. Jason Eichenholz, Ph.D., who owns the home and founded Jonathan’s Landing charitable foundation, is matching donations dollar-for-dollar for all items supplied by manufacturers involved with the build. The foundation works toward developing housing for adults with Autism Spectrum Disorder while aiming to create jobs within that community.

Phil Kean Design Group managed the remodel exhibit. This project focused on updating a house from the 1950s using modern materials while retaining key architectural elements. The renovated three-bedroom property features an open floor plan with indoor-outdoor amenities such as a pool and outdoor kitchen.

“Our mission was to honor the home’s original character while transforming it into a model of modern performance and design,” said Kean. “We carefully preserved key architectural elements, while integrating advanced building techniques and materials. The result is a seamless blend of history and innovation, proving that with the right vision, even a decades-old structure can surpass the expectations of tomorrow’s home owner.”

Both homes have achieved National Green Building Standard (NGBS) Emerald status—the highest rating available—and are set for certification through Department of Energy programs including Energy Star and Zero Energy Ready Home.

Registered IBS attendees may tour both homes during show hours from February 17-19 via complimentary shuttle buses departing every half hour from Orange County Convention Center (OCCC). Tickets are distributed daily on a first-come basis at designated booths inside OCCC starting at 7:30 a.m.
