The National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) announced the winners of its 13th annual Best of IBS Awards at the International Builders’ Show (IBS) in Orlando. The ceremony, held on the final day of the event, recognized innovative products and solutions in residential construction.
More than 300 entries were submitted for this year’s awards. A panel of 42 independent judges from the industry and media selected winners across nine categories and named an overall Best in Show recipient. The awards highlight exhibitors whose products demonstrate a combination of design, functionality, innovation, and usefulness to consumers or home builders.
The following were named as category winners:

- Best Kitchen & Bath Product: Martel from E by Emser Tile
- Best Outdoor Product: Aquor Hot + Cold Residential Mixing Valve by Aquor Water Systems
- Best Window and Door Product: Avante Door with C-Power Enabled Click-to-Conceal Panels by Clopay Corporation
- Most Innovative Building Material: Muddskip Revolutionary Drywall Finishing Technology by Muddskip Revolutionary Wall Coating
- Most Innovative Construction Tool: Muddskip Revolutionary Drywall Finishing Technology by Muddskip Revolutionary Wall Coating
Paul Criner, vice president of Criner Remodeling and one of the judges, stated, “This year’s Best of IBS applicants reflected an impressive level of innovation and real world problem solving. What stood out most was how manufacturers are not just creating new products, but delivering smarter and more efficient building solutions that are for the evolving needs of builders and remodelers.”
Adam Billingsley, president of Realistic Builders and also a judge for the awards, said, “IBS 2026 brought new products that pushed the limits, challenged design and showcased the best innovations we have seen in the market.”
Judges noted that Muddskip Revolutionary Drywall Finishing Technology could represent a significant change for drywall application. They highlighted its re-hydration technology that allows wet-on-wet application—reducing cycle times between coats—and eliminates sanding.
NAHB serves as a trade association supporting professionals in residential construction through advocacy, education initiatives, networking opportunities, resources for business development, and recognition programs such as these awards.
